Manufacturing
Composite eco-decking is produced by blending recycled wood fibres or sawdust with recycled plastic materials, such as polyethylene or polypropylene. These materials are mixed, heated, and extruded into boards or planks with a wood-like appearance. The boards are then textured and coloured to resemble natural wood while offering superior durability and low-maintenance qualities. This process minimizes waste and promotes sustainability.
Installation
Installing composite decking involves preparing the site, building a strong framework or substructure (usually made of treated wood or metal), and securing the decking boards using hidden fasteners or screws. Maintenance
Composite eco-decking requires minimal upkeep compared to natural wood. Regular maintenance includes cleaning the surface with mild soap and water to remove dirt, debris, and stains.
