Our Process
Timber Preparation
- Selecting the right type of wood based on the project requirements
- Cutting and shaping the timber using saws, planers, and chisels
- Treating the wood (e.g., drying, applying preservatives) to prevent decay and increase durability
Timber Assembly & Joinery
- Measuring and marking the timber for precise cuts
- Joining pieces together using nails, screws, dowels, or traditional joints like mortise and tenon
- Ensuring stability and alignment using clamps and adhesives
Finishing & Installation
- Sanding and smoothing the wood surface for a polished look
- Applying protective coatings like varnish, stain, or paint
- Installing the timber structure in its designated location (e.g., roofing, furniture, flooring)
